Our annual overnight camping trip will kick off Sunday May 29th , leaving from the church at 1:30 with a planned return time of Monday, May 30th by 6pm. We will spend Sunday afternoon through Monday morning at Washington Monument State Park near Boonsboro, Maryland and take a day hike in the nearby mountains on Monday. Rest rooms are available on the premises. All food will be provided (campers are asked to bring $7 to cover food costs) but some tent capacity may be needed (please indicate on the sign-up sheet whether you can bring a tent and how many people it will fit.) All campers should bring the following: a sleeping bag or suitable sleeping blankets, flashlight and warm clothing for the evening, mess kit (plate, cup, utensils) water bottle and sturdy shoes for the hike, necessary toiletries (toothbrush, towel), insect repellant and sunscreen, an extra change of clothes.
